Blonde Venus

Movie Summary: In an effort to be able to afford expensive treatment for her gravely ill American husband, a retired German entertainer returns to the cabaret as Blonde Venus and catches the eye of a wealthy politician.

Queer Film LA Says: Bisexual sexpot Marlene Dietrich, who went from Weimar chorus girl to Hollywood super star, takes the lead as a retired cabaret singer coming back to the stage. Co-starring newcomer (and fellow bisexual, by most accounts) Cary Grant.
