Director Houston Bone attacks the horror/demon baby genre with gusto in his second feature. Sara is well into her pregnancy and happy in her relationship with bartender Carol when the baby’s father, Troy, makes a surprise appearance back in her life. Against the wishes of Carol, Sara agrees to dinner at Troy’s family estate outside of Toronto so she can meet his mother (a fantastic, scenery-chewing Jane Moffat). A quiet dinner takes a turn to the demonic as Sara discovers the true nature of Troy’s family leading to a wild confrontation between the couple and Satan.
